NEXT MEETING/CLEAN-UP: NOVEMBER 28 November 10, 2009

Join us for our next meeting of the Friends of the West End Park @ 10:30 am on 11/28. We’ll be meeting on the park. After our meeting we’ll mulch and do a quick clean-up of the park.  If you have any questions email me: yomara@9to5.org.

Dear Friends,

I hope things are well. As you’ve noticed I haven’t had a chance to post much to the blog, my apologies. I’m in a wedding this weekend so I’m very busy with preparations. I’ll be back to posting soon. Also, we merged this and last months meeting with the NPU’s Agricultural Committee but I will be posting our next Friends Mtg soon so we can continue our work. Due to the wedding, I will not be able to coordinate this months clean-up but I will reschedule the next clean-up ASAP. Thanks for your patience!

Let’s Meet… August 26, 2009

So, my apologies that I was a little out of commission last week, I appreciate the sweet notes on the front door notice! I’m excited to meet w/ the NPU’s Agricultural Committee to talk about working together to do organize a Fall Fest/Gardening Gathering/event.

Saturday 6/27: Park Clean-up + Assessment June 22, 2009

Hey everyone! We postponed our clean-up this past saturday to give all our families sufficient time to go away or simply celebrate Father’s Day w/a relaxing weekend. We will be re-assembling this coming Saturday to conduct an assessment of the park, conduct a general clean-up and mulch some of the trees (especially in the southern part of the park w/ the heat they’ll enjoy a nice layer of mulch). I hope to see you there at 10:30am!
