This was a wonderful event!
Malcolm X Festival June 1, 2009
The festival was well-organized. Friends of the West End Park had a table w/ flyers and our donation can. I was impressed at how clean the park was this morning. The park looked beautiful-thanks to those volunteers, festival organizers and park’s crew for cleaning up. The organizers also did a fine job keeping the cars off the park. The event ended later than expected but overall it was a wonderful day. It was great to see the park full of life. Pictures will follow…
