COMMUNITY GARDENS IN THE WEST END June 4, 2009

Urban farmers, gardeners, earth-keepers…this month I’m featuring all the lovely work that’s happening in the Historic West End of Atlanta.

Today, I have pictures featuring the Mother Clyde Memorial Garden-this is located over by Hopkins (I believe) and Oak Street. This lovely garden is the size of a double city lot. They have several boxes planted by community members. They also have a lovely grassy area w/ nice seating.
